Get the answer to these questions and many more at the SCBA’s 2021 Call Report Virtual Seminar. This seminar is designed to explain the why’s, how’s and where’s of Call Report preparation.

This course is perfect for both the beginner and the experienced Call Report preparer. The instructors pace the class based upon the experience level of the attendees. Participants will receive a detailed line-by-line review in the completion of significant schedules of a Call Report and will be encouraged to share their call-reporting experiences. Appropriate items to be reported and relationships between schedules will be discussed as part of this review.

This seminar will be presented by Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC professionals and will offer practical techniques to improve your overall reporting process. THERE WILL BE TIME FOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC is an accounting firm that has been serving financial institutions in the Southeast for over 100 years.

MICHAEL GORDON, CPA, is a partner with Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in European history and economics in 2003 from Vanderbilt University and received an MBA with a concentration in accounting in 2005 from the Scheller College of Business of the Georgia Institute of Technology. Michael works out of the Atlanta office of Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. Since joining Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC in 2005, he has focused his career on audits for financial institutions. Michael also has experience in employee benefit plan audits as well as audits of governmental entities. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants.

KRIS TRAINOR, CPA, CFE, is a partner with Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. Kris received his BBA in Accounting from Georgia Southern University in 1995 and works out of the Atlanta office of Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC. Since joining Mauldin & Jenkins, LLC in 1995, Kris has focused his career on audits for financial institutions. He also has experience in forensic accounting. Kris is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia. Kris previously served on the AICPA’s Examination Content Subcommittee for the Audit section of the CPA exam.
