Community Investment

Bankers working together to impact our communities through community service in our state.

WHAT IS COMMUNITY INVESTMENT?

Any community service by a banker at a SCBA member institution. Community service is defined as voluntary work intended to help people in a particular area.

WHAT COUNTS AS COMMUNITY INVESTMENT?

Community investment is time contributed to a nonprofit or public service organization. The community should be benefiting from the work you do!

Examples:
– Speaking about financial literacy.
– Working with a non-profit organization.
– And many more… the opportunities are endless.

Many outstanding companies involve their employees in community service on a regular basis. And on the other hand, employees of your institution are possibly doing some form of this on their own time. Get recognized!
